Did you watch the CFL’s 2017 Grey Cup last night? If not, you missed one hell of a game.
Last night, Ricky Ray (CFL’s version of Tom Brady) and the Toronto Argonauts stole the show and gave football fans a game to remember as they defeated the Calgary Stampeders 27-24.
Ricky Ray had a record breaking night with his 100 yard, first half completion to Devier Posey for their first touchdown of the night:
The victory last night is the fourth CFL championship title for Rickey Ray, the Argonauts starting quarterback, most in league history.
“I’m just happy with these guys on this team and what we’ve been through this year. Man, there’s no other way to finish it off than with a Grey Cup” said Ray.
Jarome Messam ran for 62 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries for the Calgary Stampeders and was the game’s top Canadian.
Oh also, Shania Twain rode in for the half time show on a dog sled:
Now displaying Peak Canada…
